Purpose of JMeter Tool?

Apache JMeter may be used to test functional and performance both on static and dynamic resources (files, Servlets, Perl scripts, Java Objects, Data Bases and Queries, FTP Servers and more).

 

Apache JMeter can be used to simulate a heavy load on a server, network or object to test its strength or to analyze overall performance under different load types. You can also use it perform a functional test on websites, databases, LDAPs, web services etc.

 

Apache Jmeter can be used in IBM Sterling WMS to automate the warehouse process like Inbound flow, Outbound flow, Return flow not only that but also Automate the Onboarding process of a Customer. This saves huge manual intervention of task effort into a fraction of minutes itself.
